Hey everyone, welcome to our category, The Brew: Nashville Edition!! ❤️ I’m so excited to share this space where we’ll dive into coffee culture and explore the best spots around Nashville. From cozy cafes to trendy coffee shops, this section is all about finding the perfect cup of coffee, whether you’re sipping it with a side of dessert or using it as fuel to get through your study sessions.
This past weekend was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. I spent time with family and friends, cozying up around bonfires, which really set the mood for some autumn fall vibes! Of course, Kiara kept me on my toes, whether we were baking up a storm, chilling at home, or going for runs at the park. Speaking of baking, I whipped up a fresh batch of cookies that were a huge hit! These cookies are soft, chewy, and the ultimate comfort treat for sharing with loved ones. They will be posted later this week on the website and on social media, so keep a look out for that!! 🍪

Coffee Shop of the Week:
Now, let’s talk coffee! I’m so thrilled to introduce our very first coffee shop review. Over the weekend, I visited Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii on 21st Avenue, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I decided to try their Iced Monkey Mocha Latte, and it was to die for!! 🍌 The combination of rich mocha and a hint of banana was just the right amount of sweetness, and the iced finish made it incredibly refreshing. The best part though… was that the ice was flavored with coffee!! So even when it started melting, there was still a delicious coffee flavor to it!! I definitely see myself going back for more and taking my friend along!!
Breakdown:
Here’s my breakdown of the experience:
Environment: The place had a laid-back, island vibe which was super chill. It felt welcoming and had great music playing in the background, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying your drink.
Rating ⭐️ 8/10
Study Location: If you’re looking for a spot to study or work, this could be your go-to. They had plenty of seating, a relaxed atmosphere, and reliable Wi-Fi.
Rating ⭐️ 7.5/10
Parking: Finding parking wasn’t too bad, but it can get tricky during busy hours. There’s some street parking around, but you might have to walk a bit if it’s packed.
Rating ⭐️: 7/10
Coffee: The coffee was delicious! The Iced Monkey Mocha Latte was rich, creamy, and just the right balance of flavors without being overly sweet.
Rating ⭐️ 8.5/10
Hours: They are open every day from 7 AM to 6 PM, making it an ideal spot for your coffee fix any day of the week!
Rating ⭐️ 9/10
Overall, I’d give Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii a solid 8.5/10. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend checking out if you’re in the area. Whether you need a cozy corner to sip your latte or a fun place to meet up with friends, this place hits all the right notes.
