Hey everyone!! ☕️
This week, I stopped by a cute little spot in Germantown called Neighborlily, and let me tell you, it’s as cozy as they come! If you’re in the area looking for a comfortable, charming coffee shop to hang out with friends or just enjoy a nice cup of coffee, this might be your go-to. But before you pack up your study materials, here’s my full review!
Coffee Shop of the Week:
Environment: 8/10 🌟
From the moment you step inside Neighborlily, you feel right at home. The decor is adorable, with comfy chairs and a warm, inviting atmosphere that just makes you want to stay a while. It’s the perfect spot for catching up with a friend, and the vibe is more social than studious, which brings me to the next point…
Study Location: 5/10 📚
As cute as it is, this isn’t the best place to buckle down and get work done. The shop can get busy, and the cozy atmosphere feels more like a living room than a library. If you’re hoping to crank out some serious study time, you might be better off finding a quieter spot. But if you’re just looking to relax or chat with friends, this place is perfect!
Coffee: 7/10 ☕
The drinks here are good but a bit on the expensive side. I tried their latte, and while it was smooth and flavorful, it didn’t quite blow me away for the price. It’s definitely a nice treat, but if you’re on a budget, you might feel it’s a little steep.
Parking: Paid Lot 🚗💲
One downside is the parking situation—it’s a paid lot, so keep that in mind if you’re planning a visit. It’s convenient but adds to the overall cost of your trip. Not a dealbreaker, but something to consider if you’re trying to avoid extra fees.
Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM ⏰
Their hours are limited, making it a great spot for a morning coffee or a quick afternoon hangout. But if you’re a night owl, you’ll need to look elsewhere for your evening caffeine fix.
Overall Rating: 6/10 🌟
Neighborlily is a super cozy, charming coffee shop that’s great for a relaxed hangout, but it’s not the best choice for those seeking a study spot. Plus, with paid parking and higher prices, it’s not the most budget-friendly option in Germantown. Still, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a nice place to catch up with friends!
